The Board of Education and the faculty at Granite Falls Middle School strongly believe that learning takes place when there is shared effort, interest, and motivation by students, parents, staff, and community. Parents play a vital role in their children’s success at school, and it is critical that parents work with teachers to ensure that their children meet higher academic standards. We encourage all students, parents, teachers, and principals to sign this Shared Accountability Pledge.

• Respect myself and others, and the property of GFMS
• Attend school regularly and on time
• Follow the school rules
• Come to school dressed appropriately, with necessary materials, and prepared to work
• Ask my teacher questions when I don’t understand
• Complete and return my assignments on time
• Make my academic success of the utmost importance
